We offer several different boarding options at the Rafter J.
Whether you need a place to retire your horse, short term boarding if you are moving or going to be out of town, post-operative and injury lay-up care or foaling services, we can help! We strive to give our clients and their horses the very best, intimate care. We offer four oversized rehab and foaling stalls with open views out over our rolling pastures as well as five paddocks with shelters for individual turn out. Our retirees enjoy their golden years grazing on as much grass as they wish and resting in the shade of mature oak trees or shelters in one of our three 10 acre pastures. 

All rates include twice daily feeding (hay, grain and any personal supplements), stall cleaning, medication administering, bandage changing, blanketing in the winter and daily hand walking or turn-out in one of our paddocks.

 

Additional Services
All hauling is custom quoted based upon mileage. Our current rate is $1/mile.
Pet Sitting in the La Vernia area: $25/per visit

              Does your horse require a service not listed?
No problem! Quotes can be given for services not listed. We are happy to work with you to design a plan of care that fits your specific needs.
