Johnny Ago Go

Johnny is a 1999 registered quarter horse gelding that we bought from Gil Stoner of Uvalde, Texas in February of 2011. He is Chris's #1 heading horse and is one of the kindest horses we have ever been around. Thanks to Gil, www.stonerranch.com, for doing such a good job of getting Johnny ready for the roping pen.
Preacher

Preacher was born on April 1, 2009. We sent him to Gil Stoner to be broke as a two year old. Gil did a really nice job and we are having so much fun with him at home now. He is a true all-around, family horse. Everyone including JD and his friends are enjoying riding him.
We have high hopes for this youngster. He is very special to us and we hope he will make us a nice ranch horse and back up rope horse for Chris. Preacher is out of our mare Pumpkin and by TH Colonel Coyote (Grandson of Colonel Freckles).
Pumpkin

Pumpkin is our little sweetheart! We adopted her when she was two years old with the intentions of her being Stacy's ranch horse. Shortly after moving to Texas she developed an ulcer in her right eye and we were not able to save her eye. After she recovered from losing her eye we bred her to TH Colonel Coyote and the result was Preacher. We could not have asked for a better mom and lead-line pony for JD, Kase and their friends!
Shiner

Shiner is an amazing mare. She is a sweet heart to be around and is super gentle. Her sire is AQHA point earner All American Shiner (by the great Shining Spark). Her dam is Cee Miss Tari (a granddaughter of Colonel Freckles). Shiner had professional cutting training as a two year old and then was ridden as a family horse for years. She is a wonderful mother and passes on her impeccable confirmation, build, athleticism and personality to her foals.
Tyler

Tyler is our resident warmblood. He is retired at the young age of 16 due to ringbone and a mild founder he suffered in 2010. He is out of Stacy's first show mare, Sunny Times, and by an accomplished Oldenburg stallion named Harper. Tyler had a very short show career but his main job was to be Stacy's mom's horse. He lived at the show barn until he foundered and then moved to the ranch to be turned out to pasture. He is very happy now in his new job as the guardian of the broodmares!
In Memory...
Smoke
After a long battle with chronic lameness due to navicular and ringbone our dear friend Smoke was laid to rest on March 6, 2010. This was one of the hardest decisions we have ever made. We take comfort in knowing that Smokey is running around in heaven now pain free.
We will see you soon our sweet friend.
