We are the Kirgan Family. We bought our dream home and property in La Vernia, Texas in August of 2010. We spend most of our time riding and playing with our horses. Chris team ropes whenever he has the chance and while Stacy grew up showing and still competes in hunter/jumpers she also enjoys breeding her quarter horse mares and raising their babies. JD also shares his parents love for horses and all animals. He rides whenever he's given the opportunity and can usually be found exploring somewhere with his Jack Russell named Wyatt. Our most recent addition is Kase Walker, born on December 17, 2011. We of course cannot leave out our other two dogs, Doc the border collie and Austin the golden retriever. Our family would not be complete without them!
In addition to horses, we raise as much coastal hay as our 45 acres will permit. During the 2012-2013 winter we drilled a new water well that now allows us to irrigate our hay fields and keep our tank full! This has been such a blessing to not have to rely on mother nature to water our grass. We keep what hay we need for our own horses and sell the rest.
We are blessed to live the life that we do and thank our Lord everyday for the gifts He has given us..
